Obituary of Faye Anne Hickman

Faye Anne Sigler Hickman, age 68 died on December 7, 2011. Born in Woodbury, NJ she graduated from Pitman High School in 1961. Faye lived in Pitman for many years and moved to Millsboro, DE thirteen years ago. She attended Glassboro State College before going to work for Penn Mutual Life Ins. Co. in Philadelphia. She was a homemaker and raised three children. She returned to work as a bookkeeper at Pitman Art Supply Co. in Glassboro and worked there 14 years before retiring in 1992. Faye was active in PTA at Kindle School, Pitman and Awards Chairman for Cub Pack 244 Pitman for 3 years. She was also an active member of the Pitman United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 10 years in the 3 year old classroom. Faye enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling. Survived by her husband of 49 years Kenneth W., children Sara Beth (Raymond), Kenneth Mark (Karen) and Todd Matthew (Deborah), 8 grandchildren, brother Glynn C. Wells (Patricia), and a niece and nephew. Friends may call on Monday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
