Maryanne Podorsky (nee Jordan), age 55 died on December 12, 2011 at her home in Glassboro. Born in Camden, raised in Paulsboro, NJ, she was a graduate of Paulsboro High School in 1974. She has lived in Glassboro for the past 30 years. Maryanne taught high school English in various schools in New Jersey. She also taught English and Communications at Glassboro State College. From 1991 - 2001 she worked as a Marketing Administrator for Cardinal Retirement Village in Washington Twp. Maryanne was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She loved Ireland, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, enjoyed trips to the shore and loved working in her garden.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years Thomas E., daughter Leanne (Rob) Bauman, son Sean, mother Mary Jordan of Pitman and sister Kathy Bundens of Gibbstown.
Friends may greet the family on Thursday 9-10:30 am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 11am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Greentree Rd, Glassboro, NJ.
