Obituary of Barbara June Ciric

Barbara June Ciric (nee Grace) of Wilmington, DE died on December 24, 2011. She was 84. June was born on December 16, 1927 in Quebec, Canada. She grew up in Kapuskasing, Ontario where she enjoyed a childhood of ice skating and cross-country skiing with her sisters Martha and Nancy. June graduated from the University of Toronto before marrying Julius Ciric in 1956. They moved to Pitman, New Jersey in 1962, where she lived for almost 38 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Julius and her sisters Martha and Nancy. June is survived by four children, Catharine of Philadelphia, PA, Barbara of Williamstown, NJ, Michael of Woodbine, NJ, Amy of Yellow Springs, OH and four grandchildren Scott, Nathaniel, Lisa and Helen. June was a devoted mother, a tireless advocate for autistic children, and a good friend. She will be missed by all who know and loved her. Memorial mass will be on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 1pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
