Obituary of Mary Ann Starr Humbert

Mary Ann Starr Humbert, age 83, died on December 30, 2011. She lived in Pitman, Sewell and Mantua Twp. area all her life. Mary Ann was a Real Estate Agent for many years with Hillcrest Realty and was the owner/operator of Hurffville Self Storage. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman where she served as Deacon and Elder. Mary Ann was also actively involved in Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity, serving as President. She traveled extensively around the world for Habitat. She served on the Pitman Board of Education and the Mantua Twp. Zoning Board for many years where she also served as President. Mary Ann is survived by her husband John J. III, children Eugenie (David) Foster of Rochester, NY, Victoria Miller of Philadelphia, PA, Paul (Laura) Miller of Elkton, MD, stepchildren Judith Ann Humbert of New Zealand, John J. IV (Maureen) of Kansas City, MO, William (Holly) of Pitman, NJ, sister Carol Sandgren of Charlotte, NC, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her family adored her and misses her greatly. Friends may greet the family on Monday 9:30-10:45 in the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, 305 S. Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071. Memorial service will be at 11am.
