Obituary of Diane D. Torowus

Diane D. Torowus (Gligor), devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother died on December 30, 2011 at the age of 72 yrs old. She grew up in Woodbury, and has lived in Pitman since 1960. For 25yrs, Diane was a dedicated staff member of the Pitman High School Cafeteria. While raising her children she was an active member of the PTA, and also participated in the Pitman Woman's Club. Diane was generous to her friends and family, and always willing to help someone in need. She enjoyed family gatherings which included vacations to Disney World and the Jersey shore. Diane is survived by her husband of 51 years Michael Torowus, Jr, sons Stephen (wife Carolyn) of Glassboro, Mark (wife Marilyn) of Tucson, AZ, brothers George Gligor of Pennsauken, James Gligor of Woodbury and 7 grandchildren Katherine, Demetria, Stephen Jr., Alexandra, Claire, Michael and Calyncia. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 5th after 12pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 2pm. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
