Obituary of Josephine S. Grimshaw

Josephine Grimshaw (nee Synoski), died on February 2, 2012 at the age of ninety. A longtime resident of Pitman since 1955, Josephine was born in Carnegie, PA with much of her early adult life spent living and working in Philadelphia, PA. Josephine lived with unwavering faith in God and true devotion to her family. Throughout her life, she quietly attended to the needs of those less fortunate with kindness, love and charity. Josephine was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. She was the wife of the late Hugh Z Grimshaw and predeceased by granddaughter Katherine Grimshaw. Josephine is survived by five children Roberta McGillan, Steven and Eileen Grimshaw, Joseph and Donna Grimshaw, Joanne and Blair Chiappini, and Gregory Grimshaw. Memories of Josephine will be cherished by her grandchildren Michael and Jody McGillan, Stephanie and Kevin Cawley, Peter McGillan, Joshua and Nancy Grimshaw, Melissa Grimshaw, Joel Grimshaw, Scott and Jennifer Grimshaw, Rebecca and Richard Carr, Adam and Melanie Chiappini, Michelle Chiappini, and eleven great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday 9-10:30am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 11am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
