He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Missy, Sophie and Leo. He was predeceased by his loving wife Judith Anderson, his mother and father, Alice and Scott Anderson, his brother-in-law, Walter Van Gorder; and his nephew Max Van Gorder. Brian was an avid fisherman and captain and was loved by many friends for sharing his boat and his life. He and Jude loved to travel and entertain at their home and down the shore. He enjoyed telling stories, playing Scrabble, and sharing his life experiences, especially over a great seafood meal. He was passionate about the "Foxy Lady" and catching the big one! He spent many years enjoying fishing trips and tournaments with his buddies (you know who you are). Brian was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending and watching the games with his friends and family. As a local business owner he employed many people in Pitman for decades. Through his businesses he made many life-long friends who also shared in his unique journey and life. He was respected and loved by everyone and almost everyone can remember a good laugh or memorable story that can makes them smile. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn, 1 Union St., Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or to the American Diabetes Assn, 1060 N. Kings Hwy, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
