Lloyd Garfield Jordan, age 88 died on April 24, 2012. He was a graduate of Richwood High School in Richwood, WV. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Glenville State College and his Master's Degree from William and Mary College. Lloyd served in the 4th Marine Division during World War II and the Korean War. He was a former Principal at Glassboro Intermediate School. He fully retired in 1985.
Husband of the late Doris E. (nee Hinkle), survived by children Linda Jordan of Kansas City, KS, Ann Downham of Pitman, Lloyd R. of Pedricktown, John G. of Denver, CO, sister Kathleen Jo Shepard and sister in law Elinor Hinkle, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Memorial services will be on June 22, 2012 at 1pm in the Pitman United Methodist Church Chapel, 758 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ. Contributions may be made Semper Fi Fund, 825 College Blvd, Suite 102 PMB 609, Oceanside, CA 92057. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
