Lydia E. Avis (nee Mutzer), age 88 died on May 8, 2012. She lived in Pitman all her life and was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1942. Lydia was a switch board operator for NJ Bell and Underwood Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Robert G Avis. Survived by her son Robert M. Avis and his wife Gloria of Atco, sister Catherine Sceno of Sewell and brother Joseph Mutzer of FL. Graveside service will be Friday at 12pm in Bethel Cemetery, Delsea Dr, Hurffville. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
