Marie R. Hallgren (nee Sporrong), age 96 years, died June 7 at the Gardens at Cross Keys, where she lived for the last 3 years. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, she came to the United States in 1955 and later with her husband became an American citizen. She was a member of the Hartford Gospel Tabernacle Church in Hartford, CT.
Predeceased by her husband Ben G. Hallgren. Survived by her daughters, Gunnel Chadwick and Irene Anderson, son Rolf Sporrong. Marie had 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be in the First Baptist Church of Pitman, 30 N. Broadway, Pitman, NJ, on June 23 at 10AM. Arrangements by the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, Pitman, NJ. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
