Obituary of Hazel Young West

Hazel Young West, age 93 died on June 10, 2012. Hazel lived most of her life in Pitman and graduated from Pitman High School in 1936. She was a seamstress over 20 years for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union of South Jersey. She was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church, Pitman Senior Citizen Club and the Travel Club of Mickleton. She was a former member of the Chapel Heights United Methodist Church.
Predeceased by her husband Owen E, sister Frances M. Pierce and nephew Lester M. Pierce. Survived by nieces Barbara Horn and Sarah Tarpine-Smith and friends Cheryl and Bill Becker and family.
Friends may greet the family on Friday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment Cedar Green Cemetery. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
