Charles Edwin Kistler "Doc", age 63 died on July 7, 2012. Charles joined the US Navy in 1968 serving during the Vietnam War as an X-Ray Technician and Medic. He continued his career in the Navy as an instructor serving all over the country, including seven years in Antarctica, retiring in 1989. Doc continued working as a Machinist at Precision Technology. He was a member of the Pitman Road Church of Christ, the Obadiah Ministry, Park Place Ministry and Glassboro Archery Club. Doc also played the guitar and wrote music in Shepherd's Crook Band. Survived by his wife Catherine U. (nee Dorr) and siblings Jane Maxfield, James Kistler and Mary Ann Boyer. Predeceased by sister Suzanne Kistler. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9:30am in the Pitman Road Church of Christ, 1500 Pitman Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080. Memorial service 11am.
