Carol was an avid baker, having contributed signature baked goods such as carrot cake bites, cheesecakes or apple cake to many a celebration. She baked Smokey the Bear's birthday cake for his 50th birthday celebration at Batsto State Park in 1993. Carol was a gifted salesperson, owing to her warm spirit and genuine interest in getting to know people.
