Obituary of Joseph Edward Donnelly

Joseph Edward Donnelly, age 86 died on May 22, 2013. Formerly of Mt. Laurel and Willingboro, he has lived in Mickleton for the past 6 months. Joseph was a World War II veteran serving in the US Navy from 1944-1946. He served in the South Pacific Theater. He was a supervisor at Mobil Oil in Paulsboro, retiring in 1993. Joseph enjoyed volunteering at the Battleship New Jersey in Camden and spending time with his family. He was the husband of the late Florence D. (nee Dapp). Survived by his children Beverly (Robert) Rowell, Pat (Martha), Joanne DeCoux, Colleen (Chris) Williams, siblings Thomas, Mary Neill, Elizabeth "Betty" Kornstead, Larry, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 7-9pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Graveside service will be on Thursday at 11:30am in BG William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 14 Chesterfield Arneytown Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Contributions may be made to the Battleship New Jersey, 62 Battleship Place, Camden, NJ 08103.
