Obituary of Robert Burn McCleish, III

Robert Burn McCleish, age 73 died on October 13, 2015 after a six year battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was a graduate of Clayton High School in 1960 and was a lifetime resident of Gloucester County. He served in the Navy from 1961-1965 and being an accomplished musician, played trumpet in the Navy band in Hawaii. Bob was a longtime member of the Hobo Band. He loved the Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies either watching or attending the games. Bob (aka "Mac") had a passion for bowling and has many impressive bowling accomplishments. 34 sanctioned 300 games, 8 sanctioned 800 series, once bowled 25 strikes in a row, 2011 Lebanon Big Bracket Winner, 8 South Jersey Championships, Set S.J. 5 man team record, and inducted into the South Jersey Bowling Association Hall of Fame. He was predeceased by his wife Rosemary (nee Adamski). Survived by his sons Robert B. IV (Maureen), Brian, siblings Harry "Hap" (Joyce), Darlene McCleish (John Brown) and grandchildren Jack, Curtis and Travis McCleish, Michael Parker, and Kevin, Ryan and Shane Adamski. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 11am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
