Paul F. Lisa, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, January 27, surrounded by
his loving family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy "Tootsie" Lisa (nee Tartaglione) and his parents, Pasquale and Francesca Lisa.
He is survived by three children: Paul (Nancy) Lisa of Pamplin, VA; David (Janna) Lisa of Moorestown, and Mary (Michael) Aliberti of Sewell, nine grandchildren: Julia (Brandon) Vaughan, Matthew "Luke" (Vicky) Lisa, Rocco "Rocky" (Lia) Aliberti, Adam Lisa, Carmen, Nicklaus, Krysta Aliberti, Andrew and Mitchell Lisa. He thought himself especially blessed to have nine great-granchildren: Chloe, Hallie, Sadie and Nolan Vaughan; Tori, Calvin and Dean Lisa; Nico and Angelo Aliberti. Paul proudly served in the United Stated Marine Corps and was often heard saying, "Once a
Marine, always a Marine." Along with his wife, Dorothy, they co-owned and operated Dorothy's Flower Shop in Glassboro for 35 years before retiring in 1990. He was a life time member of the church of St. Bridget's, as well as St. Anthony Mutual Aid Society. Pop Pop's most cherished moments were spent on Sunday's among family and friends, enjoying homemade pasta and meatballs. Sundays will never be the same, but his tradition will continue.
Friends and family may call on Thursday from 7-9PM and Friday from 10-10:45AM in St. Bridget’s Church, 125 Church St, Glassboro. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM. Interment the Parish Cemetery. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
