Obituary of Magdalene H. Gresko

Madgalene "Maggie" Gresko, (nee Sulich) of Glassboro, crossed the threshold into everlasting life on July 5 at age 82 years. Wife of the late John Robert Gresko, she is survived by their children; Diana M (Frank) Haegele of Mt. Royal, NJ, John L. (Barbara) of Glassboro, NJ, and Marianne E. (Daniel) Fish of Piseco, NY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and daughter in law Esther Gresko. Predeceased by her son Anthony J. Gresko, parents Josie and Louis Sulich, and her brother Frank Sulich. Born on May 17, 1936 in Passaic, NJ, she graduated from Hasbrouck Heights High School in 1953 and married her high school sweetheart, John, in 1955. The family moved to Pitman in 1973 where their four children graduated from the Pitman School system. In 1995, she and John relocated to Glassboro, and John passed away in 1999 after 44 years of marriage. Magdalene was an active parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish), serving as a Lector and an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Friends may call on Tuesday from 7 to 9PM, and Wednesday from 9 to 10:15am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave at 10:30AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
