Charles "Chick" Jonas Holdstein, III, age 91, died on July 18, 2018 at his home in Ewan, NJ. Born and raised in Woodbury, Chick graduated from Woodbury High School in 1944. He served in the US Marines during World War II in the Pacific Theater from 1944-1947. Chick worked over 60 years as a Sales Associate for O'Neill Buick which later became Barlow Buick GMC. He was a member of the Woodbury Rotary Club, the Salem Yacht Club and was an avid boater.
Predeceased in 1999 by his wife Ann, he is survived by his companion Margaret Fox, brothers William and Bruce and sisters Connie Yust and Vivian Frazier.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11am in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Elmer, NJ. Memories may be shared at www.kelleyfhpitman.com.
