Obituary of Nina M. Flemming

Please share a memory of Nina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nina M. Flemming (nee McCullough), age 79, died on July 26, 2018, at her home. She has lived in Pitman, New Jersey, for more that 45 years, but she graduated from Glassboro High School in 1957. Nina's last two jobs of her working career were her favorites. She was the Secretary at Elmer School and the Secretary to the Director and the Board at the Washington Township Library. Before that she worked at EIRC, Gifted Children Monthly, and Phoenix Display. No matter where she worked, Nina made lifelong friends at every job. Nina was an active member and Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, and she volunteered at the Samaritan Gift Shop in Pitman too. Although Nina loved working outside of her home, her favorite roles were that of wife, mother, mimi (grandmother), sister, sister-in-law, daughter, niece, and friend. It would be impossible to find someone who knew Nina and who didn't also consider her a friend. She was the light that shone in all of our lives. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 58 years, Jack (John H.), children Jill F. (Albert) Morison, John T. (Carolyn), Amy F. (Greg) Goodworth, grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, and Johnny Flemming, Sarah Morison, Maya, Ella, and Ruby Goodworth, and her sisters Carol (Dick) Geschwindt, Ann (Bill) Pote. She is also survived by Jack's loving brothers & sister, her sisters-in-law & brother-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of dear friends. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 9-11am in the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, 305 Broadway, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will immediately follow at 11am in the church. Those desiring may make a contribution either to the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, 10 Wildwood Avenue, Pitman, NJ 08071 or to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, Inc., 550 Mickle Blvd., Camden, NJ 08103 or through their website https://ronaldhouse-snj.org.
