Obituary of Elmer E Patterson

Elmer "Pat" Patterson IV, age 75, of Pitman, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2018. Born in Philadelphia on August 20, 1943, he graduated from Pitman High School in 1961, and continued his education at Glassboro State College. Pat was a proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force and served his country from 1962-1966. He was a member of American Legion Post #49, serving as a rifle man. He served on the Board of Directors for the Broadway Theater, and coached soccer and softball. Pat was involved at Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County, was a member of the Men's Group at Church and served many through church, the town of Pitman, and beyond. Pat thoroughly enjoyed building the Melaleuca business with his wife Patrice. Pat was a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patrice (nee Hecker), his children; Kristine (Rick) McNeal, Karen Koehler, Kenny (Joelle) Patterson, Kaitlin (Will) Smith, Kelly Patterson and Karlee Patterson, 9 grandchildren and #10 on the way, and his brother, George. Pat was predeceased by his daughter Kathlynn. Friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 7:00 to 9:00PM in the Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County, 5360 Route 42N, Turnersville, NJ and after 10:00AM on Friday.
