Obituary of MaryJane Butt

MaryJane Butt (nee Harnish), age 81 years, passed away on Sept. 2 at Underwood Memorial Hospital. She is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father. She was born and raised in Lancaster, PA and attended McCaskey High School, graduating in 1948. MaryJane married George Butt in 1957 and they moved to Glassboro to raise their two sons. She attended St. James Lutheran Church and in later years, she enjoyed worshiping at the First Presbyterian Church in Pitman. She was an active member of Brookside Swim Club, enjoying tennis and many social activities, visiting Ocean City and being outdoors. Predeceased by her husband George, and her parents Mike and Ethel Ranck Harnish. She is survived by her two sons, Eric "Rick" of Sewell and Jim (Lucretta) Butt of Austin, TX, sisters Ruth Colson Jones, Dorthy Williamson, and brother Jim Harnish. Friends may call on Thursday after 2PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Memorial service at 3:30PM. Interment private in Gloucester Co. Veteran's Cemetery.
