Obituary of Joseph Vincent Herrschaft, Sr.

Joseph Vincent Herrschaft, Sr., age 81, died on March 15, 2020. Joseph lived in Glassboro over 67 years. He was a graduate of Glassboro High School in 1956 and Glassboro State College in 1960. Joseph was a school teacher at Delsea, Clayton, West Deptford and Paulsboro School Districts and retired from Paulsboro in 2000. Joseph coached football at Paulsboro High School and coached Little League for Glassboro. He served on the Board of Directors for Glassboro Park and Recreation, he was a member of the South Jersey Touchdown Club and received the Herb Neilio Service Award. Survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia (nee McGann), sons Joseph Jr. (Rosemary), James J., granddaughter Jeannette (Andrew) Burgwald, foster grandson Gage Kennedy, siblings Peter Herrschaft, Barbara Selfridge, Elizabeth Louise DeStefano, Emily Franklin, Nancy Waters, Ronald Herrschaft, Richard Herrschaft and Joanne Gottlieb. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
