Daniel James (Jim) Taylor, Jr., age 82, died on January 28, 2021. Jim was born on October 4, 1938 to Doris and Dan Taylor and raised in Ridgefield Park NJ. He graduated from Clarkson University a Chemical Engineer and worked for Mobil Research and Development in Paulsboro for over 35 years. Jim and his wife of 57 years raised their family in Pitman before moving to Park Place Sewell in 1999. He was a volunteer coach for his sons' sports teams, an active member at the Church of the Good Shepherd, and past leader for the Park Place Home Association. Pre-Covid he enjoyed playing bridge at the Washington Twp. Senior Citizen's Club. Jim was a lifelong Tigers fan, a Philadelphia sports fan, Parcheesi player, and avid reader. He liked to travel; Hilton Head Island was a favorite destination. He was the husband of the late Judith (nee Varney.) Survived by his sons Douglas (Kendy), David (Jacqueline), Steven (Mary Ellen), grandchildren Kevin, Scott, Lynne, Caitlin, Erin, Laura, Megan, Matthew, Evan and Mary Kate. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Linda Salisbury (nee Taylor). A celebration of Jim's life will be announced at a later date when it is safer to do so.
