Obituary of Dennis M Casey

Dennis Michael Casey, age 66 years, died April 14 at Vitas Hospice, Stratford, NJ. Born in Ridgewood, NJ, he was raised in Glen Rock. He was a graduate of Regis High School (New York City), in 1973 and Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1977. He lived in the Edison, NJ area for many years, before moving to Sewell in 2013. He worked as an accountant, ending his career as a Certified Fraud Examiner. He was a lifelong New York Yankees and Frank Sinatra fan, who was devoted to his grandchildren. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia J. (nee Burke), children; Tim (Megan) Casey and Tara (Evan) Fjellin, grandchildren; Charlotte, Madelyn, Oliver, and Nathaniel. Also survived by his brother, James Casey, sisters, Kathleen Smith and Patricia MacDonald, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Monday from 8:30am to 9:45am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial mass at 10am in Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
