Obituary of Leonard A. Kraus

Leonard "Chip" A. Kraus, age 74, of Washington Township, died on October 2, 2021. Born and raised in Woodbury, Chip graduated from Woodbury High School in 1965 and attended West Virginia University. In 1987, Chip opened and operated Life Care Medical Center which he ran for 25 years. He cofounded the 5th Quarter Football Club at Washington Township High School which is still going today. He also volunteered for the United Way. He was predeceased by his wife Jane Emma (nee Klein). Survived by his sons Christopher (Andrew), Jonathan (Jamie), grandchildren Ethan, Justin and Avery. Friends may greet the family after 9:30am on Wednesday in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 11am.
