Obituary of Billy Ray West

Billy Ray West, age 83, died on November 1, 2022. Bill lived in Cedar Brook for many years. He lived in Pitman over 19 years before moving to Sewell over a year ago. Bill served in the US Air Force from 1957-1961. He retired from Nabisco where he worked for 30 years. Bill then went to work as the Maintenance Manager at Winslow Township High School, retiring after 10 years. Bill and his wife enjoyed spending time at their vacation home on Mystic Island, NJ. He also volunteered at the Mystic Seaport in Tuckerton. He was a member and trustee at the Wenonah United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife Karen M. (Arduino), children Billy R. Jr. (Marjorie), Deborah (Gregory) Manna, Edward (Susan) West, Julia (Michael) Wolfrom, Nora (Sean) Grieve, grandchildren Zachary, Keith, Carly, Jessica, Olivia, Jacob, Fiona, Samuel, Ruby, Skylar, Luna and siblings Joseph (Margaret) West, Michael (JoAnn) West and Gail (Ronnie) Currin. Friends may greet the family on Saturday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery.
