Years ago I came across a beautiful reflection. I always felt nothing better encapsulated the sentiments we all feel when trying to express our grief over the death of a loved one. Margie was a such a lovely person and clearly I have no worthy words to bridge your hurt. So I share this quote “What do you do when words won’t come, when all the nouns and verbs lay deflated at your feet, with what do you communicate? Tears….those tiny drops of humanity, those round wet balls of fluid that tumble from our eyes, creep down out cheeks and splash on the floors of our hearts. They are miniature messengers, on call 24 hours a day to substitute for crippled words. They drip, drop and pour from the corner of our souls, carrying with them the deepest emotions we possess. So sorry for your loss. She was such a sweet soul. I met “Margie” & Bob thru Duke. We had so many laughs & memories when we got together. We stayed in touch after Bob & Duke passed. The first Christmas after Duke passed, I was visiting Dawn & Jim in New Jersey. Margie & Sugar drove over to meet me for lunch. It was always a pleasure when we all got together. She will be missed, especially her infectious laugh. I have found that sadness and heartaches will eventually be replaced with loving memories of which there are many.
