Obituary of Dolores J. Haegele

Dolores J. Haegele (nee Albertson) age 91 years, died March 27, 2023. Born in Gloucester City, she was a long-time resident of Pitman and Washington Township, NJ. She was the owner of Broadway Fashions (woman's clothing store), located on Broadway in Pitman for 24 years, and also owned a store in Salem, NJ. Dolores was a past treasurer and vice president of the Pitman Business Association, and was a co-founder of the Pitman Craft Show. She was a former 4th grade teacher in Clayton and was active in community events. Predeceased by her husband George H. and daughter Laurie. Survived by her children; Steven (Wanda), Frank (Diane), Diane (Robert) Zimmerman, and Marilyn, 8 granddaughters; Jennifer, Denise, Elaine, Marie, Lisa, Brittany, Ashley, and Natalie, and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Elaine Lewis. Friends may call on Friday, March 31 from 10 to 11AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM.
