Obituary of Wayne Howard Fisher

Wayne H. Fisher, age 71, son of Emiziah and Charlotte (Stetser) Fisher passed away after a short illness. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 52 years Mary Fisher (McLaughlin), son Brian (Jenn), Patrick (Heather), daughter Jessica Lee (Jessie), grandchildren Jalena, Jace, Jackson and Ava who were an endless source of love and fun. Also survived by his brother's Craig (Patti), Barry (Lynn) Clay (Angelo), sisters in law Lynn Gallagher (John), Patricia Everwine, Ann Steffens (Mark), brother in law Edward McLaughlin (Donna) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Bob (Cyndy) and Scott. Wayne grew up in Mt. Royal and Pitman. He spent his life working as an HVAC Tech and owned his own business for six years. He spent years coaching Little League in Erial. Wayne's passion was playing golf with his brothers and working side by side with Mary, in their yard. Any day he could get on the course was a good day. Wayne and his wife loved to travel and volunteered at the St. Charles Borromeo Food Pantry. He was a generous and faithful man who made friends wherever he went. He was always able to make you laugh with his quick wit and quirky sense of humor. He Fisher-isms (labeled by his granddaughter) were famous and a source of enjoyment for family and friends. Please do something nice for someone you don't even know. We're all here but for a short time, MAKE IT COUNT! Friends may greet the family on Monday after 5pm in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service will be at 7pm.
