Obituary of Jean Rettig

Jean Rettig (nee Finning), age 94 years, died on February 29 at Pitman Manor. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, she moved to Oakland, NJ soon after marrying her love, Robert Rettig. She moved to Glassboro 30 years ago when her sons attended Rowan University. She was an artist and specialized in oil paintings. She loved her family, knitting, crocheting, and playing the piano. She was also in a roller-skating club growing up and was valedictorian of her high school class. Predeceased by her husband Robert Rettig, Sr. Survived by her children: Cinthia Sprinkle (Howard), Robert (Jody) Rettig, Jr., Terrence Rettig, James (Kelli) Rettig, Eugene (Cindy) Rettig, and grandchildren; Christopher, Amy (Michael), Lauren (Jeremiah), Janelle, Michael, Kacie, Matthew, Eric, Collin, Kristen (Luis), Kyle, and Patrick. Also survived by her great grandchildren; Megan, Ethan, Abby, Katie, Macy, Gabriella, and Giovanni, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
