Obituary of Eleanor J. Davis

Eleanor Mathis Jessup Davis Born May 25th, 1937, to Paul and Lydia Jessup. Eleanor did have a younger brother for a short time, Edward died before his 3rd birthday. Eleanor was an avid reader. She went to nursing school in Delaware and became a Registered Nurse. She married her first husband in 1960. They had 4 daughters Laura Mary, Kathleen Lydia Stetter, Marian Rollins (Raymond) and Bonnie White (Paul). Bonnie has two sons, Paul Aaron White, and Andrew Davis White. Marian has two daughters, Kelly Rollins, and Krista Rollins, and step son Jeff Rollins; his kids Fiona and Desmond. Eleanor divorced in 1970 and raised her 4 daughters alone. She met Howard Leroy Davis, and they married in August of 1981. Howard brought with him Linda Davis, Lorrie Sutton (Pat), Stephanie Ensign (Richard) and Steve Davis (Lori). Eleanor loved all her children, and grandchildren. Eleanor and Howard did enjoy world traveling London, Spain, China, Thailand, Italy, and Mexico. When not traveling worldwide they traveled locally all over the United States and Canda. Too many to mention them all. They have lived in Midland, TX, Fort Worth, TX, Williamsport, PA, and good old Pitman, NJ. Eleanor has had a full life. There will not be a viewing or funeral. A Celebration of Life is being planned at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to your favorite animal rescue, shelter, or charity.
