Obituary of Florence M. Thompson

Florence M. Thompson, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home on May 1st, in Jenkintown, PA. Born in Philadelphia she was raised in Mantua before moving to Pitman to raise her children. She lived in Pitman most of her life before moving to her daughter's home in Jenkintown where she has resided for the past 20 years. Florence was a past member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. She enjoyed travelling to the casinos to play blackjack and sit by the beach. She loved doing puzzles and spending time with her grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Thompson and her children, Geraldine Olson, Jacquline Pagan, Keith Thompson and Frank Thompson and her Granddaughter Candy Thompson. Survived by her children Sylvia(David) Blackshaw, Michael Thompson, James Thompson, Gerald(Lavendar) Thompson, Candy Danser, Kathleen(Michael) Baer, Robert(Kathy) Thompson and 27 Grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Frank Exler. Friends may call on Monday, May 6th from 10:00 to 11:00AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
