Obituary of Michael Collins “Mike” Jess

Michael Collins Jess, age 43 years, of Elmer, NJ, died January 17 at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Phila., PA. Born in Camden, NJ, he was raised in Williamstown, and was a graduate of Williamstown High School. He had lived in Upper Pittsgrove Twp. for the past 2 years. He was co-owner, along with his wife Wendy, of Michael Jess Excavating located in Upper Pittsgrove Twp. He started this company 23 years ago and it is still an active, thriving business. He was an avid scuba diver and instructor. Survived by his wife Wendy L. (nee Terres), his father Stacy Jess, mother and father in law Mary and Edward Buck, brothers in law and sisters in law; Keith Terres, Susan Ramaley, Rachelle Buck, Edward Buck, Jr., Amy Buck, and Allen Severa. Also survived by godson Ronnie William Heaney Jr., aunt and uncle Doris and William Johnson, cousins Williams Johnson, Jr., and Bunni Bouchard. Friends and family may call on Sunday after 6:30 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ, and on Monday after 10 AM. Funeral service at 11 AM. Interment Manahath Cemetery.
