Madaline Madge S. Johnson (nee Souder) age 87 years, died January 17, 2007 in Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury, NJ. She was born in Glassboro, and lived there most of her life. During World War II, she worked at the Owen-Illinois Plant in Glassboro, and also as a seamstress for clothing factories in Pitman and Mantua. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Pitman. She was predeceased by her husband James A. Johnson, Sr..
Survived by son James A. Jr., of Leroy, NY, granddaughter Laura Dyan (Erik) Viel of Atlanta, GA, grandsons, Eric M. of Atlanta, GA, and Robert A. of Baltimore, MD.
Friends may call Tuesday after 9:30 AM in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
