Obituary of Warren Harold Young

Warren H. Young, age 76, of Sewell, NJ died February 3 in Underwood Mem. Hospital, Woodbury, NJ. Born in Woodbury, he was a lifelong resident of Pitman and a graduate of Pitman High School in 1950. He retired from Texaco Eagle Point in Westville, NJ after 34 years as the foreman of the Alki and CRO units. He was a former manager of the Pitman Junior League Baseball team and the All Star Team that went to the Nationals. He also played baseball and loved sports. He was a member, former trustee and head usher of the Pitman United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Harriet J. (nee Bundens), daughters Susan Lynn Young of Deptford and Donna Lee Bengel (Barry) of Sewell, and grandson Christopher Lee Bengel. Also survived by his brother Edwin Souder (Marion) of Pittsgrove, NJ. Family and friends may call at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ on Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.
