Obituary of Evelyn DuBois Thompson

Evelyn DuBois Thompson, age 90 died on January 15, 2013. Born and raised in Pilesgrove, Evelyn moved to Pitman in 1948. She was a graduate of Woodstown High School in 1940. Evelyn was an active member of the Pitman United Methodist Church where she helped in the nursery and delivered flowers. Evelyn also volunteered with her husband delivering Meals on Wheels. She was the wife of the late Harold C. Survived by her children Gary D. (Joy), Ida Lynn (Rev. Greg) Wenhold, stepdaughter Carol W. (Cal) Johnson, sister Madelyn Simpson, grandchildren Lindsay, Daniel, Halie, Greg, Debbie, Kim, Kathy, Carolyn, Jennifer and Michael. Funeral services and interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Pitman United Methodist Church, 758 N.
