Obituary of John Michael Kogut

John M. Kogut, age 25, passed away on Friday, March 7 in a motor vehicle accident. Beloved son of Madeline A. Kogut, devoted brother to Harold (Kirsty), Paul (Mam) and Melanie. Loving uncle to Emily Kogut and grandson to Bertha Stankunas. He is also survived by many aunts, cousins and friends.He is predeceased by his father, Harold Kogut, Sr., grandmother Audrey Whery, grandfathers Michael Stankunas and Paul Whery.John was born and raised in Pitman, N.J. He resided in Felton, Delaware where he co-managed Storm Master of Delaware with his brother Paul Kogut.Adopted by many as their second son. He will always be remembered for his laughter, smile and genuine concern for helping those in need. Memorial services for John will be held on Sunday, March 16 at 2:30 pm in the Pitman United Methodist Church, Broadway & Lambs Rd., Pitman. Friends and family will be received from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Following the service, a catered reception will be held at the church.
