Obituary of Robert Arnold Albertson

Robert Arnold Albertson, age 65, died January 18 at his residence in Pitman. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived in Clayton for 29 years. He graduated from Delsea High School in 1965 and McPherson College in Kansas in 1969. He was a Special Education Teacher and retired from Upper Deerfield Twp. in 2010 after 40 years of teaching. He coached Softball for Schalick and Delsea High School, Softball and Football for Cumberland Regional High School, Softball, Soccer, and Girl's Basketball for Clayton High School. He was a member of the NJEA and the Clayton Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara (nee Albertson), daughters Kelly Albertson and Jamie (Darryle) Gunderson, grandchildren Jeremy, Kacey and Shawn, and his sister Marjorie Cathcart. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:30 to 9PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ and on Wednesday from 10 to 11AM. Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment Cedar Green Cemetery.
