Eleanor L. Linn Lovingly known as "Gram". Eleanor L. Linn (nee Lees), 90, of Pitman, NJ peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2008 while surrounded by her adoring family. Gram, as she was fondly known, was loved by all who met her. Born in Northumberland, PA, she married John R. Linn in 1940, and moved to Pitman in 1955. As aresident of Pitman for over 50 years, she was active in the First Presbyterian Church, Women's Circle Group, Keenagers (with whom she took many fun and interesting trips), and Sew & Sew (needlepoint and stitching club). Her feisty personality, sense-of-humor, and accepting attitude were a few of her finest and most appreciated qualities. Her sharp intellect, despite her advanced age, never ceased to amaze her family and friends. Gram was predeceased by her devoted husband of 58 years, John. She is survived by two daughters Sandra Beilstein (Edward) of Wenatchee, WA and Susan Shoemaker (Gene) of Pitman, NJ, brother Jay Lees (Louella) of Hastings, NE; six grandchildren Donna Eakman (Jeff) of Bothell, WA, Karen Babb (Gary) of Bothell, WA, Mark Beilstein of Belmont, MA, Ken Baldwin (Kim) of Turnersville, NJ, Melissa Baldwin of Sewell, NJ, and Cale Shoemaker of San Diego, CA; seven great-grandchildren Nate and Noah Eakman, Elliott, Madison, and Libby Babb, and Kenny and Paige Baldwin. Friends may call on Wednesday after 7 pm and Thursday after 10 am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral service at 11 am on Thursday. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to the 1st Presbyterian Church, 305 S. Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071 or Caring Hospice, 102 Gaither Dr., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
