Dorothy J. Taggart (nee Jones), age 71 passed away on July 15, 2008. Born and raised in Mullica Hill, she lived in Pitman for over 50 years. She was a graduate of Glassboro High School in 1956. Dorothy was a receptionist at the Pitman Manor and retired in 2007 after 12 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was the wife of the late Lewis W. Survived by daughters Lynn M. (Alexander) Kelly of Pitman, Beth J. (Raymond) Glenn of Mantua Twp, sisters Myrtis Zych, Barbara Price, Betsy Yanello, brothers Walter Jones, Robert Datz, grandchildren Ryan A. Kelly, Michelle Glenn, Kristie Glenn, and great grandchildren William, Grace, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Zachary. Predeceased by grandsons Jason L. and Sean P. Kelly.
Friends may call on Friday after 9:30am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral service 11am. Interment Bethel Cemetery. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Pitman Manor Fellowship Fund, 535 N. Oak Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071.
