Obituary of Alberta M. Adair

Alberta M. Adair (nee Orris), age 96 died on January 25, 2013 at her home in Pitman where she has lived since 1954. Alberta was born and raised in Ickesburg, PA and was a graduate of Ickesburg High School in 1934. She worked for various business in the Pitman area and retired from Struthers Dunn in 1985. Alberta was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #57, Pitman and a member of the Center Presbyterian Church in Loysville, PA. She was the wife of the late Robert John Adair. Survived by her daughter Vonnie L. Smith of Glassboro, sister Violet Sheaffer of Franklin, PA, grandchildren Martin, Randy, Andy and Glen Smith and 3 great grandchildren Ryan, Owen and Yasmin. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday after 10am in Nickels Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Rd, Loysville, PA. Funeral service will be at 11am. Interment Sandy Hill Cemetery.
