Alvin Jim Park Lawrence, formerly of Barnsboro, died on October 20, 2008 in Stafford, VA at the age of 81. Born and raised in Pitman, he attended Pitman High School. Alvin was a Korean War Army Veteran serving from 1950-1952. He worked as a Senior Sales Clerk for Pitman Auto Parts and retired after 40 years.
He was the husband of the late Emma May (nee Lewis). Survived by his children Cheryl (Steve) Zehering of Fredericksburg, VA, Ted of Barnsboro, Vickie (Dan) Karcher of Williamstown and grandchildren Shawn and Brian Zehring and Leslie Karcher. He was predeceased by son James.
