Obituary of Gregory J. Elias

Gregory John Elias, (Peck) age 53 years, died suddenly at his home in Clayton, DE where he lived for the past four years. Born in Phila., PA, he lived most of his life in Pitman and was a graduate of Pitman High School in 1973. During his high school career, he excelled in all three sports, playing baseball, basketball and football. His selfless contributions on the fields earned the respect of his teammates, coaches and opponents throughout the county. He was involved in the Pitman Athletic Assoc., enjoyed coaching and working with kids. Survived by his mother Elizabeth Milward and father David Milward, Sr., brothers Bruce and William Elias, David Jr., Robert and John Milward, sisters Debbie Elias Kier and Susan Felton, and many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his brother Arthur R. Elias. Friends may call on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Memorial mass at 11 AM.
