Obituary of Senna B. Starr

Senna B. Starr (nee Burrell), age 87 years of Mullica Hill, died November 13 at Underwood Mem. Hospital. Born in Mt. Airy, GA, she was a graduate of Grady Memorial Hospital Nursing School in Atlanta, GA. She was a veteran of World War II, serving as a nurse for the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, VA. She moved to West Deptford in 1955, and Mullica Hill in 1969. At that time, she and her husband, Robert D. Starr opened the Robert D. Starr Furniture Store, currently owned and operated by the Starr family. Predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Robert D. Starr. Survived by her daughters Beverly of Woodbury and Elaine (Chuck) Starr-Mihlebach of Alloway, sons Kenneth (Mary) and Edward B. of Mullica Hill, grandchildren Julie Kramer, Elizabeth Starr, and Melissa Mihlebach, sisters Irene Poole, Monterri Norton, Stella Norton, Wilma Mullinax, brother Garnett Burrell, all of Georgia, brother in law and sister in law Luther and Jennie Starr, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 PM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM in Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ.
