Ruth Elizabeth McDermott (nee Ryan), age 85 died on December 18, 2008. She was the wife of the late James T. McDermott, loving mother of James, Jr. (Carol) of Washington Twp, Donna (George) Kull of Mullica Hill, grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 9.
Ruth formerly lived in Pitman and has lived in Mullica Hill for the past 5 years. She retired after 30 years at Columbia Records in Pitman where she was the Executive Secretary for the Plant Manager. She was a member of the Breakfast Club at Columbia Records.
Friends may greet the family 9-10:45am on Monday in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial mass will be at 11am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave, Pitman. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 N. Delsea Dr, Clayton, NJ 08312.
