Burton W. Taiman, age 80 years, of Glassboro, NJ, died Jan. 10 at South Jersey Hospital Systems, Elmer Division. Born at the Panama Canal, he had lived most of his life in Glassboro. He was the owner of Affiliated Agencies, Inc. from 1961 until his retirement in 1991. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy and a former member of the Glassboro Lions Club.
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary A. (nee Bobenhausen), daughters Donna M. (Edward) McLaughlin, Linda A. (Robert) Merry, and Carol L. (Vincent) Liquori, grandchildren Ed, Ryan, Lauren, David, Michael (Celeste), Trisha (Joel), Kristen, and Kimberly, and 3 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 7-9PM and Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave., Pitman, NJ. Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave., Pitman. Interment Glouc. Co. Veteran's Cemetery.
