Obituary of Roberta N. Hall

Roberta N. Hall, age 71, passed away on January 25, 2009. She was raised in Montclair, NJ and resided in Pitman since 1959. A devoted mother and proud grandmother, Roberta was always busy knitting new outfits for the grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time at the beach with the family and for the last 10 years traveled often to her home in Myrtle Beach, SC. Roberta graduated from Glassboro State College in 1959 and began her teaching career in the Woodbury School System. She then went on to teach at the Wenonah Elementary School for over 40 years; prior to her retirement in 2005. Roberta was a member of the New Jersey Education Association, Rowan University's Alumni Association, and the American Association of University Women. She was also very active in the Pitman Women's Club, Red Hatter's Club, H.O.P.E. . Group, and enjoyed 50 years as a member of the Brookside Swim Club in Glassboro. Roberta was the wife of the late William C. Hall, Jr. She raised three children and proudly doted upon seven grandchildren. Roberta is survived by her children Andrew (Mindy) of Moorestown, Brooke (Greg) Yordy of Pitman, Graham (Michelle) of Wallingford, PA, grandchildren Trevor, Tanner, Bryce, Mason, Brayden, William and Aubrie, brother Stuart (Betty) Nickerson, mother-in-law Mildred Hall and companion William Olszewski. Friends may call on Thursday after 9am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Memorial service is scheduled for 11am.
