Obituary of Mary E. McLaughlin

Mary E. McLaughlin (nee Bunn), age 87 died on February 9, 2009 at her daughter's home in Erial. Born and raised in Laramie, WY, she was a graduate of University High School in Laramie and attended the University of Wyoming. Mary led an interesting life having lived and worked in many places including Wyoming, California, Colorado and New York City. She has lived in Pitman for the past 54 years. Mary retired in 1984 from Glassboro State College where she was a payroll secretary. Mary was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Pitman, the Altar and Rosary Society, St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Golden Age Club. She was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program. Mary enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. She looked forward to her bridge club and scrabble games. Visits from her lifelong friend Betty were a source of joy and comfort. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Survived by her children Lynn (John) Gallagher of Voorhees, Patricia Everwine of Washington Twp, Edward (Donna) W. McLaughlin of Williamstown, Mary (Wayne) Fisher of Erial, Ann (Mark) Steffens of Franklinville, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call on Saturday 8:30-10:15am in the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ. Funeral mass will be at 10:30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman Ave, Pitman.
