Obituary of Maxine L. Smith

Maxine "Pat" Smith (nee Harrell), age 88 died on February 22, 2009 at the Pitman Manor where she lived for the past five years. She was formerly of Hardingville. Maxine worked as a seamstress for many dress shops in the area. She was a member of Hardingville Bible Church. She was known for her skill in needlework and making lap quilts which she gave to many family members and friend. She also loved spending time with her family, visiting friends, cooking and gardening. She was a special lady to many people. She was the wife of the late Harley Rufus Smith. Survived by her daughter Marian (John) Craig of Thorofare, daughter in law Vonnie Smith of Monroeville, grandchildren Martin, Randall, Andrew and Glen Smith, Stacy Stewart and Greg Harris, and great grandchildren Ryan Myers and Yasmin and Owen Smith. Predeceased by son Carl Timothy Smith and daughter Jenny Lyn Harris. Friends may call on Wednesday after 7pm and Thursday after 10am in the Kelley Funeral Home, 125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ.
