Obituary of David D. Lloyd

David D. Lloyd, age 78 died on March 6, 2009. Born in Montclair, NJ he lived in Pitman since 1951. He served in the US Navy from 1952-1955 during the Korean War. He was a Professor of English at Rowan University for over 45 years where he served as Chairman of the English Department. He also enjoyed directing plays at Rowan University. David was also an accomplished author having a few books published andwas listed in Who's Who of America. He also loved wildlife. He was the husband of the late Maureen D. (nee Doody), survived by his daughter Susan (Miko)Tervo of Pittsburg, stepson David M. (Christine) Brantley of Williamstown and grandchildren Stephen and Hanna Tervo. Graveside memorial service will be 3:00 pm on Friday, March 19 in Gloucester County Veteran's Cemetery, Tuckahoe Rd., Monroe Twp.
